「大觀」是國立故宮博物院結合北宋書畫、汝窯以及宋版圖書的大型展覽，精心擘劃已久，可謂年度盛事。
本院收藏宋版書二百餘部，包含罕見孤本及原刻初印珍本，並世無雙。特選二十八種珍本展出，從技藝與智慧兼備的宋版圖書中，尤見古人為傳播知識所用的苦心。另出版精美圖錄以饗大眾，期使世人在欣賞之餘，能深刻認識到宋代版刻圖書在文化及藝術史上的重大意義。
